Service Description
User Story Mapping for Jira is an Atlassian Forge app that provides visual story mapping for Jira projects. The Service includes:
- Story map visualization — a 2D grid that organizes Jira issues into user activities, steps, and prioritized swimlanes.
- Drag-and-drop organization — reorder activities, move issues between swimlanes, and update priorities with changes synced back to Jira.
- Version and sprint swimlanes — slice your backlog by fix version or sprint for release planning.
Atlassian Platform
The Service operates within and depends on the Atlassian Jira platform and the Atlassian Forge runtime. Your use of Jira is governed by Atlassian's own terms of service and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of the Atlassian platform.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose of visual story mapping and backlog organization. You agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the application.
- Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or the Atlassian platform.
- Use automated tools to abuse the Jira API through the Service beyond normal usage patterns.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, documentation, and branding, is owned by Maciej Jezierski. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Your data remains yours. We claim no ownership over Jira issues, epics, versions, or any other content in your Jira projects.

Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MACIEJ JEZIERSKI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the App from your Jira site. Upon uninstallation:
- Forge storage data (configuration, preferences) is removed by Atlassian.
- Your Jira data (issues, epics, versions) remains unchanged.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service if these terms are violated.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
