Service Description
4Spec for Jira is an Atlassian Forge app that provides requirements management and test management for Jira projects. The Service includes:
- Requirements management — create and organize requirements as native Jira issues with tree structure, traceability matrix, and document view.
- Test management — create test cases, build test plans, execute tests with step-by-step results, and track defects.
- Compliance features — approval workflows, electronic signatures, safety classification, immutable audit log, baselines, and compliance reports.
Atlassian Platform
The Service operates within and depends on the Atlassian Jira platform and the Atlassian Forge runtime. Your use of Jira is governed by Atlassian's own terms of service and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of the Atlassian platform.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose of requirements management, test management, and compliance tracking. You agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the application.
- Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or the Atlassian platform.
- Use automated tools to abuse the Jira API through the Service beyond normal usage patterns.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, documentation, and branding, is owned by Maciej Jezierski. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Your data remains yours. We claim no ownership over Jira issues, requirements, test cases, or any other content in your Jira projects.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all Jira configurations.
The compliance features provided by 4Spec (audit log, e-signatures, approval workflows, safety classification) are tools to assist your compliance efforts. They do not constitute legal, regulatory, or compliance advice. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service meets your specific regulatory requirements.

- Forge storage and Forge SQL data (tree structure, test plans, executions, baselines, audit logs, configuration) is removed by Atlassian.
